# A site that shows what you do today

> **Established small and mid-sized businesses:** You sell more sophisticated work than the site suggests, and customers who search for you get the wrong impression. This is fixable in a matter of weeks.

## Does any of this sound familiar?

- The site reflects what you did five years ago
- Nobody internally can update content without calling a vendor
- You lose on comparison against younger, clearer competitors
- The last redesign took nine months and you will not repeat it

## How we solve it

- **Positioning first, design second.** We start with what you sell today and to whom. Then the design lands on something that actually sells.
- **You own the content afterward.** Content lives in a system your own staff can update. You change a headline yourselves in a minute.
- **Staged launch.** We release in stages, so the business keeps running throughout.

## Common questions

### Do we have to take the site down during the rebuild?

No. We release in stages with the current site running throughout. The switch happens once the new one is finished and checked, and can be rolled back the same day.

### Can we keep our current domain and email?

Yes. The domain stays with you and email keeps working exactly as it does today. The only change is where the domain points, and that switch is planned so the site stays reachable throughout.

### What happens to our old content and the links to it?

Old URLs are mapped and redirected to their new equivalents, so existing links and search positions carry over. Content that has passed its usefulness is removed as a deliberate decision.

### Our staff are not technical — can they update the site?

Yes. Content sits in a system built to be changed by whoever knows the business, with documentation in plain language. A walkthrough at handover is included.

### How much time does it take from us?

Budget a couple of hours a week: one check-in, plus material when we need your numbers or your knowledge. The rest of the time we build.

### Can you work alongside our existing IT supplier?

Yes. The interface to them is defined in writing in the proposal so responsibility is clear in both directions. We make contact directly when that is simplest for you.
