Pricing

What a website costs

Five fixed-price tiers, from a three-day landing page to a platform with integrations. Plus what it costs to rebuild a site that already exists, and what other suppliers charge.

Short answer

A website built from scratch costs €900 for a landing page at Torn Studio, €3,200 for a starter site, €7,900 for a business website, €13,500 once several languages and content work are included, and €22,500 with integrations and a logged-in area. Rebuilding an existing site costs €2,300–22,500.

Five tiers, built from scratch

The price is fixed before the work starts and it holds. Each tier is a bounded build with its own scope, so you pick the tier by what the site has to do.

What moves the price

Seven things decide which tier a project lands in. All of them can be answered before anything is built, which is the whole reason the price can be set in advance.

The number of unique page templates
Fifty pages built on three templates is less work than eight pages that all look different. Templates are what gets built; pages get filled.
Whether the content exists
Finished copy and images shorten the project. Producing the content is its own job with its own time, and that time is the most underestimated line in most quotes.
The number of languages
The foundation carries several languages from the start. The cost sits in the content per language and in the localised addresses, which are what makes the right version rank in the right market.
Integrations
CRM, booking, payment or an ERP need planning, testing and error handling. The integration path is checked before the price is set, so the surprises land before the quote.
Where the design starts
An existing identity turns design work into a translation into code. Creating one adds the iterations that requires.
The accessibility level
The European Accessibility Act has applied to many services since June 2025. WCAG 2.2 AA is included from the Growth tier and can be added to the tiers below it.
Whether the addresses change
A new URL structure needs a redirect map. It decides whether the rankings survive, and it is work that a new build on a new address never has.

Rebuilding a site that already exists

The price is a range here, because the starting point is somebody else’s decisions. What the site is built in, how the content sits and whether the addresses stay decide where in the range you land.

SizeScopeFigureTimeline
SmallUp to ten pages, one language, no integrations, and the content moves across as it is€2,300–5,5001–2 weeks
MediumTen to forty pages, one or two languages, an integration or two, and a new URL structure with a redirect map€5,500–13,0003–5 weeks
LargeForty pages or more, several templates, multilingual, integrations that have to keep working throughout, and content that migrates€13,000–22,5005–10 weeks

What decides where in the range you land

  • How many unique templates the site has today
  • Whether the content migrates as it is or gets rewritten
  • Whether the addresses change, which calls for a redirect map
  • Access to the current system: source, CMS export and hosting
  • The number of languages, and how many are kept
  • Integrations that have to keep working throughout the switch
  • Whether the old site stays up in parallel during the build

A rebuild can cost more than a new build of the same size. Migration, redirects and keeping two sites alive through the switch are work a from-scratch project never has.

What it costs to keep running

A website keeps costing after launch. The market budgets 10–20 % of the build cost per year, and nearly all of that goes to things a static site does without: core updates, plugin licences, and hosting sized for PHP. Five tiers, from running it yourself to us running it.

Why the lowest tier can be zero

A statically built website is finished files on a CDN. Security updates for a core, themes and plugins belong to other architectures, so the running cost is the domain: around €12 a year. Swedish price guides put the practical minimum for a WordPress site at 3 000–6 000 kr a year, and Swivrr states plainly that skipping the maintenance contract makes security the owner’s problem. The difference is what the site is built from.

What other suppliers charge

The figures below are published by other people and were read on the page they appear on. Every row is quoted in the source’s own currency and linked, so you can check it. One warning about comparing them: agencies that publish price guides are competing for small-business searches, so the published record leans towards the cheapest part of the market.

Do the arithmetic yourself

The build phase alone on an international corporate marketing site is 120–180 hours. At the Swedish agency rate of 850–1 800 kr an hour that is 102 000–324 000 kr, before discovery, design or content. The Business tier is €7,900 and covers the whole project. The difference is the number of hours, at a normal rate.

When somebody else is the right choice

If you need capacity that keeps running when one person falls ill, skills a single supplier could not plausibly hold, or a vendor who can clear a formal procurement, an agency is the right answer. If what you need is a simple site under €900, a template and an afternoon does the same job. Both things are true, and both are worth knowing before you get in touch.

Common questions

Which tier do we need?
Count pages and templates first. One page with one goal is Landing page, three to five pages is Starter, and once you need your own structure, content work and measurement you are at Business. Several languages move you to Growth, and integrations or a login to Platform.
What separates €3,200 from €7,900?
Starter gives you three to five pages on one shared template. Business gives you your own structure across eight to fifteen pages, positioning and content work, a design system in code, and FAQ markup on the pages that answer questions. The difference is how much of the site is built for you specifically.
Can we start at one tier and build up?
Yes. Every tier sits on the same foundation, so the step up is a new bounded engagement priced at the difference plus whatever the added scope costs. The foundation carries several languages from the start, which is what makes the step from Business to Growth a content job.
What does rebuilding an existing website cost?
Between €2,300 and €22,500 depending on size. Up to ten pages in one language sits at the lower end; forty pages with several templates, multiple languages and integrations sits at the upper end. We look at the site and fix a price before anything starts.
Do our rankings survive a rebuild?
Yes, when the redirects are done properly. Every old address is pointed at its new equivalent before launch, and the map is tested against a list of the pages drawing traffic today. That work is included in all three rebuild bands.
Are the prices excluding VAT?
Yes, every price on this page excludes VAT. Swedish companies pay 25 percent on top. Inside the EU we invoice at 0 percent VAT against a valid VAT number, under the reverse charge rules.
